Stadium Upgrade Proposal

The plans for “Iron Arena” are on the notice board at the stadium.
A five (5) court multipurpose building catering for futsal, netball, badminton and of course basketball, all with seating for major sporting or community events.
Coordinator for the project, Taree Basketball Board member Steve Atkins said, “This is what our town needs. A venue that can cater for larger sporting events as in State Championships or big events that attract people from other towns, so that it will boost our local economy while providing the much needed facilities as we have outgrown our current facility. A win win for all, if we can get this project across the line. “
