Annika Scott making her mark in basketball circles.

Annika Scott, a product of the Taree Tornadoes junior basketball program, has been named as a reserve for the New Zealand Junior Ferns squad for the upcoming FIBA U17 Women’s Oceania Championship to be conducted in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea from the 2/10/2023 to 7/10/2023.

The team roster has 12 players who will compete at the FIBA U17 Women’s Oceania Championship with reserves named to cover the event of injuries or other circumstances preventing travel to the PNG Capital.

Annika impressed at the U17’s girls and boys New Zealand National Camp earlier in the year which resulted in her being in the frame for National selection.
